Position Available: Financial Planning - Senior Administration/Para Planner

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our practice principal and financial planner within all areas of financial planning administration, data collection, research and advice construction.
Ideally experience with Xplan software and 2 years’ experience working in a financial planning firm or currently undertaking an FASEA approved degree such as business, accounting, economics majoring in Financial Planning is desirable.
Responsibilities of this position include:
Provide high quality financial planning administration and support to advisers
Ensure all relevant compliance information, paperwork and research is compiled in a timely manner to assist advisers in making decisions, conducting meetings and implementing advice
Understand and adhere to the compliance framework in which we operate
Effectively use and understand the implications of data entry into financial planning software
Communicate task delays/issues along with potential solutions to the advisers in advance of deadlines
Clearly, concisely and professionally write client correspondence
You may be required to answer calls, schedule appointments and greet clients

Strong attention to detail and pride taken in presenting high quality advice documents
Excellent planning, organising and prioritising skills
High level of integrity, professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills and personal presentation
Willing to continually improve your technical knowledge and keep up to date with the latest changes in the financial services industry
Have an inquisitive and logical approach to the task you are performing
High professional standards, honest, trustworthiness, confidentiality and project a professional image of the firm at all times
