Kaitlin is a taxation specialist who was led into the accounting profession by a fascination with systems and an enjoyment of working with, and within, them.
For her, constantly-changing tax legislation is interesting-actually, truly interesting. However, she understands that not many share this view, and most prefer to spend their precious daylight hours doing things that are more conventionally 'fun'. That's exactly why she delights in untangling complex tax issues for clients and presenting them with the information they need to manage their business and personal affairs.
She also enjoys helping to minimise the day-to-day administrative burden of running a business, and finding time-saving solutions to everyday problems. Kaitlin is a certified Xero advisor who is equally comfortable assisting clients with other accounting packages (including MYOB, Phoenix and Reckon), and is excited by the opportunities afforded by the transition to cloud-based accounting platforms.
Kaitlin possesses an insatiable thirst for knowledge and since commencing her cadetship with Bush & Campbell in 2013, has taken every opportunity to broaden her knowledge base and sharpen her skills so that she can work to the highest standard and exceed expectations wherever possible.
Kaitlin holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and is a Provisional Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, currently undertaking the CA Program. She has earned numerous academic accolades over the course of her studies, including being awarded the CPA Australia Prize for Third Year Accounting Studies in 2015, and receiving the highest mark nationwide in the Taxation (316) module of the CA Program.
